Ho Chi Minh Museum is an important historical-cultural monument of Vietnam, attracting a huge amount of domestic and foreign tourists to visit. The museum exhibits documents and artifacts about the life and revolutionary career of President Ho Chi Minh. This place is famous for its unique architecture and historical value.

Ho Chi Minh Museum is located on Ngoc Ha Street, Ba Dinh District, Hanoi – the area containing many historical sites such as Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, One Pillar Pagoda, President Palace. The work was designed by a Russian architect and built with the help of Soviet Union.

Ho Chi Minh Museum was “born” on May 19, 1990, on the occasion of the country celebrated the 100th birthday of President Ho Chi Minh. The structure expresses the profound gratitude of Vietnamese people for the great contributions of President Ho Chi Minh.

The entire museum is a 3-floor square chamfering block, with a height of 20 meters, symbolizes an ethereal white lotus, reminds Sen Village, home of Ho Chi Minh. The four square blocks on the top floor are both the lotus petals and doors towards Hung Vuong Street, the stilt of President Ho Chi Minh, Ngoc Ha Street and Nguyen Thai Hoc Street. The front side is the large relief with the image of Vietnam national flag and hammer, reflecting the idea of independence and socialism.
Next to the building there is an artificial lake with a diameter of 18 meters and the bonsai made of natural stone from Hoa Lu (Ninh Binh), making the scene more lively and closer.
In the center of the museum there is a copper statue of President Ho Chi Minh. The statue is 3.5 meters high and 3 tons heavy.

Ho Chi Minh Museum exhibits three major issues: the first is about the life and revolutionary career of President Ho Chi Minh. This includes documents, artifacts, films, documents, artworks…The next part displays the struggles and victories of Vietnam in Ho Chi Minh’s period.
The final section shows some facts about the world history that have an impact on the revolutionary activities of President Ho Chi Minh as well as Vietnam Revolution.
