In the following time, the event “Hoi an Light Festival” welcoming the Lunar New Year will make Hoi An Ancient Town magical, sparkling and charming with a perfect combination of light and sound.
The light festival will last from Jan 27 until Feb 8, 2017 as an activity to light up the Lunar New Year.
This is the first time that a festival of colorful light is held in Hoi An with a big scale like this. The modern technology and traditional factors that mixes between sound and light will definitely create a vivid scene.
Six places in Hoi An will be performed with light including Japanese Covered Bridge, An Hoi Bridge, Hoai River, Kazik Park, No. 2 Bach Dang Stop, and a part on Nguyen Thi Minh Khai St.
Each show lasts for 8-10 minutes at 3 times of 19h, 20h and 21h every night.
Join in the festival, tourists will have the opportunity to admire the art of light performance with magnificent and brilliant colors of plants, flowers, monument as well as tourist activities … that are very harmonious with the ancient landscape.
To enjoy this light festival, visitors must buy tickets for organizers to control the amount of people on the demonstration area.
The total cost for the festival is around VND22 billion that promises this will be a grand event.
