Travelling Sapa, rarely do tourists forget to visit Ban Ho Village. This place offers spectacular natural scenery, towering waterfalls and a lot of unique cultural heritages. These days Ban Ho Village is becoming an attractive destination for many tourists, especially foreign tourists.

Ban Ho Village lies in Sa Pa District, Lao Cai Province, from the center of Sapa Town about 30 km to the southwest. There are 5 ethnic groups living together, including Mong, Dao, Tay, Giay and Nung (the majority).

Although Ban Ho Village is not near the center like other villages in Sapa, it still attracts tourists for its spectacular natural scenery.

Visiting Ban Ho, tourists will be amazed before the immense blue of rice on terraced fields, surrounded by hills and stilts scattered along two sides of the stream.

Ban Ho Village is the intersection of two streams of La Ve and Muong Hoa. Muong Hoa Stream day to day carries water for dozens of houses in the village, and La Ve Stream flows from the deep forest, so it may be more beautiful and mysterious.

Besides, in the area, there are a series of majestic streams, waterfalls such as Jumping Fish, Seo Trung Ho, Silver Waterfall, Love Waterfall… the places attracting the passion, exploration of the romantic nature of visitors.

Ban Ho Village is not for those who have no desire to discover. The winding roads on the hills are really the challenge for visitors. But if experienced, visitors will surely be tempted by the diversity of nature here.

Going to here, visitors can admire not only the charming natural scenery, the unique architecture of the wooden stilts that attach to many generations of the natives  but also live in a friendly warm environment as well as join in community activities like love singing, bamboo dancing…or witness women to plant mulberry, raise silkworm and do weavings.
