Full Itinerary
Day 1: Saigon Arrival
International flight to Ho Chi Minh City is at your own expense. Pick-up at the airport by private vehicle & tour guide. On your arrival at Tan Son Nhat airport in Ho Chi Minh City/Saigon, the friendly local tour guide and driver will warmly welcome you, we transfer to hotel in the center city for check-in and then free for relaxing.
Day 2: Saigon City tour & Cu Chi Tunnels tour (B, L)
In the morning from 8:00- 13:00, we start the tour with a visit to Cu Chi Tunnels. Our friendly station guide & driver pick up at the hotel. We are on a drive to explore Cu Chi Tunnels - where an enormous system of linking underground tunnels is situated in the Cu Chi district of Ho Chi Minh City (Saigon), Vietnam and are a section of a much bigger tunnel system located under an immense area of the country. During the Vietnam War, a lot of military attacks happened in the Cu Chi tunnels and the Viet Cong used this place for the Tết Offensive campaign in 1968. The tunnels were functioned as a hiding place during the battle. Furthermore, it was used as the main route to support the army force such as food, weapon, and others. The network of tunnels played an important role in the war against American power and supported the Vietcong gain the final success.
We then return to Saigon city in the afternoon and have lunch at a local restaurant. The afternoon begins with Saigon half day city tour. Sightseeing Saigon Notre Dame Cathedral, constructed by French between 1863 and 1880 and became a central and religious place for French. Then, enjoy an included visit to Saigon Central Post Office which was established when Vietnam was under the control of French in the early 20th century. Afterward, continue to War Remnant Museum showing the image and the documents of Indochina war. Followed lastly is Reunification Palace, the former Presidential Palace for the president of the South of Vietnam and a shred of important historical evidence, witnessed the transfer of power between Saigon government and the revolutionary government after the liberation army minute. Return to the hotel in the late afternoon for a rest and overnight.
Day 3: Saigon – Mekong Delta (B, L)
This morning, depart the hotel and head to Mekong Delta, sightseeing with a local guide with an explore one of the highlights in the Mekong, Cai Be Floating Market, a colorful market with various kinds of fruits and vegetables. Later, maybe an optional excursion to local stores in order to see how to make rice paper, coconut candy, and pop-rice, pop-corn.
Then, enjoy an interesting trip to the handicraft village to see the way that local people create some traditional products like fish sauce and soya sauce. A relaxing moment on the boat will lead you to smaller canals and you can enjoy the peaceful time here as well as see some traditional houses and have a chance to communicate with local people via a watching their old ways to catch fish or pick up fruits. Lunch is at a local house in Mekong Delta. In the afternoon, take a leisurely walk through the delta, and afterward, we taste some kinds of fruits while enjoying traditional music. Discover the real life of locals with a biking trip through colorful local farms and houses. The cruise will end at Vinh Long city where our bus picks us up for driving back to Saigon; drop at the hotel.

Day 6: Saigon – Phnom Penh by public bus (B)
Our arranged vehicle/bus picks your group up at hotel & transfer to the public/open bus station where we join the big public bus to get to Phnom Penh in Cambodia. The local guide & private bus of Phnom Penh will pick up you and transfer to the hotel in the city center & check-in. We are relaxed at the hotel in the rest of the day or walking around at the local market to see the real Cambodian life on your own.
Day 7: Phnom Penh City tour (B, L)
This morning, enjoy the city's main highlights on an included guided sightseeing tour. Today we start our visit to the Royal Palace Complex consisting of the Royal Residence, the Throne Hall or Vinichhay Temple where a monarch is given a throne and the Chan Chaya Pavillon (where traditional dances took place) which includes Wat Preah Keo or known as the Silver Pagoda, an amazing place with a giant golden Buddha decorated with 9584 diamonds. Then, take 10 minutes walking to see the collection of Khmer art in the National Museum.
In the afternoon, explore the Choeng Ek Killing Fields and the Tuol Sleng Genocide Museum. Toul Sleng is a place presenting the images of hundreds of torment faces of those tortured in the ancient school. Most of them were moved to Choeung Ek, a mass grave site also a memorial to those killed under the Khmers Rouges rule. Before transferring to the hotel, we visit the Russian market and then enjoy free time to do your own exploring in the evening.
Day 8: Phnom Penh free day (B)
Today you are free all day for your own relaxation & exploration.
Day 9: Phnom Penh – Siem Reap by private bus (B)
Private Vehicle/bus without tour guide escort picks up at the hotel in Phnom Penh. We continue our journey, taste “Fried Tarantula” and on our way, we will stop at the market town of Skoun, famous for this special delicacy. Upon arrival in Siem Reap, our driver will transfer you directly to the hotel for check in and relax & free on your own in the evening.
Day 10: Siem Reap – Angkor Wat tour (B, L)
Today, enjoy an included visit to the complex of Angkor to enjoy the peaceful atmosphere of an old place. First, sightseeing Angkor Thom built by King Jayavarman VII at the end of the 12th century which is surrounded by a massive perimeter wall and a moat with five monumental gates. The most important monuments are named the Bayon, the Baphoun and the Terrace of Elephants. After that, we visit Ta Prohm, a mysterious place with the huge roots of old Banyan trees.
In the afternoon, the first stop is Angkor Wat, the largest monument of the Angkor Group and the best conserved and it is an architectural masterpiece. All the factors are balanced and in harmony which makes it become one of the finest monuments in the world. The day will finish with a sunset scene at Phnom Bakheng temple. Return to the hotel after the tour and free at leisure.
Day 11: Siem Reap – Boat trip (B)
In the early morning, take in the scenic view of the local life as you travel to the floating village of Chong Khneas, then return to the hotel for breakfast and be free or relax by the pool, or visit the Old Market. In the afternoon, we will drive through the lovely countryside, where the production of the palm sugar is done, and then visit the temple Banteay Srei, the prettiest temple in the area. Later, we will visit the Chao Srei Vibol temple, which is one of the off-the-beaten-track of Angkor temple and that’s well worth a look. The tour is finished in the early afternoon upon returning to the hotel.
Day 12: Siem Reap – Bangkok by public bus
Free after breakfast until the reasonable time that you are picked up at the hotel and leave Siem Reap for Bangkok in Thailand.
